Khon Kaen, Thailand – April 25, 2025,  MekongSustain project team meeting with  president of Khon Kaen Chamber of Commerce-YEC , Mr.Sa-nga Sattanun (Senior Coordinator) and Mr.Athipthep Boonman (Project Coordinator MekongSustain) from Trade and Investment Facilitation (TIF), Mekong institute to briefly in PR and Open call activity of the project at Khon Kaen Chamber of Commerce-YEC. The MI team had a productive 2-hour presentation on the MekongSustain Project. Approximately 20-25 business owners attended, primarily from the automotive, transportation, and agriculture/food sectors.

The attendees actively engaged with several questions and expressed their interest and appreciation for the MekongSustain project. They understood the importance of reducing carbon emissions for future SME adaptation, especially concerning carbon tax and adaptation technology, to minimize supply chain costs and achieve carbon reduction and sustainability. Overall, the feedback was positive, with attendees believing the project would benefit manufacturers and industrial factories to pay attention to the decarbonization plan. The entrepreneurs showed a keen interest in business matching and its potential benefits.
